Welcome to Walkathon Central, the heartbeat of our scholarship fundraising efforts and one of the most anticipated events on the Ardenne Alumni Association Atlanta Chapter (AAAAC) calendar.

Each year, on the first Saturday in October, alumni, family, friends, and supporters unite to walk for a cause close to our hearts: education. The net proceeds from this annual event go directly to our Scholarship Fund, the cornerstone of our AAAAC Legacy Project.

Why We Walk

Our scholarship program offers crucial financial aid to talented and motivated students at Ardenne High School who need support. These students are the future, and it is our collective responsibility to help them succeed.

In 2024, thanks to your incredible support, we surpassed our goal and raised over $11,000, a proud milestone that helped us expand our scholarship impact.

This year, we are dreaming bigger. Our 2025 goal is $20,000, and with your help, we believe we can achieve it.

Can’t make it to Snellville? No problem! You can walk in your own city, neighborhood, or park and join us virtually on the day. Wherever you are, we want you to be a part of the action!

Get Involved: Every Step Counts

We’re calling on every member to take personal responsibility in helping us meet our goal. Each member is encouraged to raise a minimum of $500 in donations.

You can help by:

  • Creating a fundraising page or team
  • Sharing our campaign with friends, family, and coworkers
  • Becoming a sponsor or securing sponsorship from your network
  • Donating directly—every dollar makes a difference

Sponsorship & Tax Benefits

The Ardenne Alumni Association Atlanta Chapter is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

When you donate or sponsor:

  • You’re directly funding a student’s education and future
  • You’ll receive a donation receipt for your tax records
  • Your brand or name will be recognized for supporting a life-changing cause
