Welcome to Walkathon Central, the heartbeat of our scholarship fundraising efforts and one of the most anticipated events on the Ardenne Alumni Association Atlanta Chapter (AAAAC) calendar.

Each year, on the first Saturday in October, alumni, family, friends, and supporters unite to walk for a cause close to our hearts: education.

The net proceeds from this signature event go directly to our Scholarship Fund, the cornerstone of our AAAAC Legacy Project.

Why We Walk

Our scholarship program provides critical financial assistance to talented and motivated students at Ardenne High School who need support to continue their academic journey.

These students embody promise, potential, and possibility, and it is our shared duty to support their success.

A Growing Legacy

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our donors and participants, our Walkathon has increased in both impact and visibility each year. The funds raised have enabled us to expand scholarship support and deepen our dedication to student success.

In addition to walking, our event experience continues to grow. Starting in 2025, we added vendor tables, giving alumni entrepreneurs and community partners a chance to showcase their businesses while supporting our cause. This feature remains a key and valued part of our Walkathon experience.

    Can’t join us in Snellville? No problem.

    Supporters across the country and internationally participate virtually, walking in their own cities, neighborhoods, or parks. Wherever you are, you can help advance this important mission.

    Get Involved: Every Step Counts

    We encourage every member to take personal ownership in helping us meet our fundraising goals. Each member is encouraged to raise at least $500 in donations.

    You can support by:

    • Creating a fundraising page or team
    • Sharing the campaign with friends, family, and colleagues
    • Becoming a sponsor or securing sponsorship through your network

    The Ardenne Alumni Association Atlanta Chapter is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as permitted by law.
